About Leona Glamping
Nestled just outside Curubandé, Leona Glamping is a small, family-run retreat designed for guests who love comfort and wild places. Our handcrafted tents sit on raised wooden platforms with private decks, outdoor showers, and solar-lit paths. We focus on low-impact design, local food, and curated adventures to Catarata La Leona and nearby natural attractions.

What to Do
Highlight: Catarata La Leona
The iconic turquoise canyon waterfall is minutes from the glamping entrance. Most visitors enjoy a guided hike that includes river crossings, a short canyon swim, and a chance to enter the cave behind the falls. We partner with local guides for safe, small-group treks.

Practical Information
Curubandé is an easy inland drive from Liberia and serves as a gateway to Rincón de la Vieja. Many guests fly into Liberia (LIR) and arrive in ~20–40 minutes by car (depending on pickup location). A 4×4 is recommended if you plan to self-drive to trailheads. For the La Leona hike expect trail-and-water sections; closed-toe water shoes and a waterproof bag are recommended.
